The GPT function to call ChatGPT in Google Sheets

The simplest function to start using GPT in Sheets. Outputs the result in a single cell.
Try typing =GPT(“Say hi”) in a cell.
OpenAI GPT-3 will respond with something like “Hi!”.

You can now ask it anything you want. It is extremely powerful at:
– writing any kind of text: taglines, ad copy, product descriptions, subject lines, emails, outlines, blogposts
– manipulating text: fixing grammar, extracting data, cleaning data, changing the style or tone, making shorter or longer, translating, etc
