OpenAI, the makers of ChatGPT, just unveiled a new tool called “deep research” that the company says can produce detailed reports by using reasoning to synthesize large amounts of complex data. Jason Hiner, editor-in-chief for ZDNET, joined CBS News to discuss the new feature.
